The Foundation Engineering T Level is an excellent starting point for anyone looking to begin a career in the engineering sector. Completing this qualification awards you a Level 2 Certificate in Engineering, giving you the skills and knowledge needed to progress to a Level 3 T Level in either Engineering and Manufacturing or Design, Surveying, and Planning for Construction. You’ll learn through a mix of supervised, work-based training and hands-on experience on real projects. T Levels offer a unique learning experience that blends industry placement with classroom study, helping you build practical skills and confidence for your future career.

  • Entry Requirements
    • You will need to have successfully completed a Level 2 qualification with Merit and achieved at least one grade 4 in English, Maths, or a Science-related subject
    • Or have 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, not necessarily including English and Maths
  • Assessment

    T Level students are assessed in a variety of ways to ensure they develop into well-rounded and capable individuals. Throughout the course, students are required to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, performance, and professional behaviours across all units of study.

  • Moving Forward

    You will be able to progress onto a T Level Level 3 course in either Engineering and Manufacturing or Design Surveying and Planning Construction after successful completion
